The VITAI LoRaWAN Leak Sensor is a cutting-edge water sensor that utilizes LoRaWAN technology to detect water leaks with precision. Its metal probes sense the presence of water, triggering an immediate uplink to the IoT server through the LoRaWAN network, signaling a water leak event.
Powered by 2 x AAA batteries, this detector is optimized for extended use, capable of delivering 16,000 to 70,000 uplink packets. The result is an impressive battery life spanning 2 to 10 years. Battery replacement is a breeze, thanks to the easily accessible enclosure.
Noteworthy features include periodic data transmission throughout the day and real-time reporting for each water leak event. The device records and analyzes the frequency of water leak occurrences and calculates the duration of the last water leak. For added flexibility, users can choose to disable immediate uplink for each event, allowing the device to accumulate events and transmit periodically.
Each VITAI LoRaWAN Leak Sensor comes pre-loaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registration. Simply register these keys with the LoRaWAN server, and the device will automatically connect upon power-up, streamlining the setup process for a seamless user experience.
