Do i need a subscription with The Kraken?
Yes, a subscription is required to utilize the full capabilities of Kraken under our Smart Water Management Plan. This subscription enables you to configure alerts via SMS and Email, customize your dashboard style, and gain access to our cutting-edge NextGen Plumbing Service.
Can i use The Kraken without a subscription?
Indeed, The Kraken can be utilized without a subscription, but please note that without an active subscription, you won't have access to our support services, customizable dashboards, or any of our additional features and services.
Do i need to cut the pipe to install The Kraken?
Installation of our Kraken Ultrasonic Flow meter is hassle-free. No pipes need to be cut; it simply clamps onto your existing setup and begins working seamlessly!
Where do i get alerts if there is a leak?
Leak alerts will be sent to the specified email or SMS number that you have configured. These alerts will provide detailed information about the location of the leak and include clear instructions on the necessary steps to resolve the issue promptly.
Can i have more then one property on one dashboard?
Yes, our single dashboard is designed to efficiently display information for multiple properties, allowing you to access and monitor the metrics of each property seamlessly, ensuring accurate and comprehensive results.
What is your NextGen Plumbing Service?
Our NextGen Plumbing service is designed to provide comprehensive support. When a leak is detected by any of our sensors, you will receive an alert, and our preferred plumbing contractor will also be notified. The plumber will have access to all the relevant information about the leak and will reach out to you within 24 hours. In urgent situations, your alert will clearly instruct you to call a dedicated number, ensuring immediate contact with a plumber and eliminating the hassle of finding one on your own.
Is The Kraken Battery operated?
While the Kraken is typically plugged into a standard outlet, it's important to note that for uninterrupted recording of flow and water usage during blackouts, we recommend the use of battery backup solutions. This ensures that your data collection remains continuous even in the event of power outages.
Does your solution use wifi?
Our solution utilizes LoRaWAN technology. If needed, we can install a LoRaWAN Gateway to ensure the necessary coverage, enabling seamless communication between our sensors and the central system.
