The SenseCore AquaRoot Soil Moisture Sensor is a LoRaWAN-enabled device designed for precision agriculture. It measures soil moisture, temperature, and conductivity, using FDR (Frequency Domain Reflectometry) methods to provide accurate data. The sensor is factory-calibrated for mineral soil types and can detect moisture in saline-alkali and loamy soils. Data is transmitted wirelessly to an IoT server via LoRaWAN, offering ultra-long-range communication and high interference immunity while minimizing power consumption.

The AquaRoot supports BLE configuration and wireless OTA updates, ensuring ease of use. It is powered by an 8500mAh Li-SOCI2 battery or a solar-powered Li-ion battery, designed for long-term use of up to 5 years. Each sensor comes pre-loaded with unique keys for easy LoRaWAN registration and automatic connection after power on.
